As a result of the signing of free trade agreements
among the ASEAN member countries and China, supported
by the fact that Thailand’s Northern region is located
in the geographical center of China, Myanmar, and Laos,
the company seize this opportunity to embark on a cost
cutting programs by importing cheaper raw materials and
relocating production facilities to these neighboring
countries. To fill up the production capacity left vacant
by the relocations, the sweet corn production line was
established in 2003. Our sweet corn products have been
very well received by the customers with sales volume
rising from 100 containers (20ft) in 2003 to 500 containers
in 2005, and expecting to reach 800 containers in 2006. |
