Tofu
with red sauce |

Ingredients
- 1 chunk white tofu
- 200 g. ground chicken
- 1 tablespoon minced “Maejin”
pickled single clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar pea
- 2 tablespoons diced carrot
- 2 tablespoons sliced baby corn
- 2 tablespoons diced “Maejin”
pickled single clove garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon corn flour
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup stock
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons julienned ginger |
Instructions
1. Cut the tofu chunk into 3 layers
2. Mix the ground chicken, minced
“Maejin” pickled single clove garlic, ground pepper,
and 1 tablespoon oyster sauce together and then stuff
the mixture between the tofu layers. Steam the stuffed
tofu for 8 minutes.
3. As for the red sauce, heat the oil in the pan. Add
carrot, baby corn, sugar pea, diced
"Maejin" pickled single clove garlic, and julienned
ginger and stir fry together. Season the mixture with
soy sauce, sugar, and oyster sauce. Add stock in the pan
and dissolve corn flour in the pan to make the sauce thicker.
4. Put the steamed tofu in the serving dish, pour the
red sauce onto it, and then scatter the green onion over
the dish for decoration. |
